Blind Sports Association
Welcome to the Saskatchewan Blind Sports Association Website.
SBSA will be hosting an Open Goalball Tournament on Saturday, March 17th, 2012 at Mount Royal Collegiate from 9am - 6pm.
Everyone is welcome to participate and experience Goalball first hand. Those who are sighted are also welcome to participate in Goalball, learn how to become an official and help volunteer throughout the day. If you are interested in participating or volunteering and want to find out more information about the Goalball Tournament, contact the office at sbsa.sk@shaw.ca or call 306.975.0888.
SBSA is pleased to present their new initiative called the Awareness, Participation and Inclusion(API) Project. SBSA is offering free in-service presentations and demonstrations to schools, community associations, recreational facilities and any other sporting associations to promote and provide physical activity to individuals whom are blind and partially sighted within existing parallel systems. If you would like to book an in-service, please contact API Coordinator Melissa Meacham at 306.975.0888 or api.sbsa@gmail.com. SBSA is now extending their API in-services to rural middle and high schools.
2011-2012 Bowling, Curling and Goalball seasons have started. For more information on how to join a team or volunteer with one of the leagues, contact the SBSA office at 306.975.0888 or email sbsa.sk@shaw.ca
