SBSA VOLUNTEER JOB OPPORTUNITY
GOALBALL COACHES NEEDED
Saskatchewan Blind Sports Association is seeking interested and qualified volunteers to assist in the coaching of the SBSA men and women's GOALBALL teams. The domestic goalball season is from October to March annually. There are athletes both in Regina and Saskatoon. Time commitment includes practices twice per week, once per month provincial practices, and three major tournaments throughout the season. National Championships are held in host provinces annually.
Preferred candidates will have sport and recreation knowledge and experience. Familiarity in working with athletes who are blind is an asset. The position is volunteer, all coaching costs and travel is reimbursed by SBSA. Information about goalball can be found on the SBSA website and is linked to rules on the International Blind Sports Association website.
